Summer Classes and Programs 2026

Summer Classes
Throughout the months of June, July, and August, we'll have drop-in classes on select weeks (4 total) that all dancers are welcome to join us for!  You do not have to be registered as a student at Storytellers in order to attend these summer classes, and all classes are split into different age groups.  To view our full class schedule for the summer, click here!  For the summer, dancers can drop in to any class for $10, or you can purchase a summer pass for your dancer to grant them access to all classes in their age group for the summer!  In order to sign up for a summer pass, register with us here!  Each night of our summer classes will have a specific theme, so be sure to follow us on our social media accounts to be among the first to know each theme!

Summer Camps
Our Summer Camps will be held across two different weeks in the summer, all with different themes!  The information for each camp is below.  Each day will be filled with themed dancing, activities, snacks, and more!  All our camps are open both to dancers currently registered with our studio and those not currently registered with Storytellers.  We limit the number of spots available for each camp, so if you’re interested in your dancer attending any of our camps, we encourage you to register here.

Early Bird Pricing is now open for all camps through February 28th, 2026!  The early bird price for our camps is $150.  Please note this must be paid by February 28th in order to still qualify for early bird pricing.  After February 28th, each camp will have a cost of $180 per dancer, and invoices will be due upon registration in order to reserve your dancer’s spot for the camp.  All invoices can either be paid online via debit/credit card or at our studio via cash/check.  You can also register while at our studio as well!  The individual theme of each day of our camps will be sent out to those registered closer to the starting date of each camp.

Princess Dance Camp

Join us as we dance it out and celebrate to some of Taylor Swift’s biggest hits!  Each day will be themed to a different era from her discography!  This camp will have offerings for two different age groups.

Musical Theater Workshop *NEW*
It’s time to get theatrical!  For the first time, we will offer our Summer Musical Theater Workshop this year!  This offering will have two age groups (5-10, 11 & Up) and will last for two hours each morning.  Each day dancers will learn part of a small show that we will put together (including dancing and acting) and perform for our families at the end of the workshop on Friday! This workshop is open both to dancers currently registered with our studio and those not currently registered with Storytellers.  If you’re interested in registering your dancer for one of our age groups, you can do so here.

Technique Intensives
This summer, we will offer two intensive weeks for dancers looking to strengthen their dance skills in a fast-paced, fun environment!  These two intensive weeks will be open both to dancers registered for one of our programs and those not currently registered with our studio.  Each day will focus on growing dancers’ technique and repertoire of steps.  In order to give each dancer at these intensives as much individual attention as possible to help them to learn many new steps/grow during the week, we are keeping the total number of spots limited!  If you’re interested in registering your dancer for one of our intensives, you can do so here.

Advanced Ballet


Our Advanced Ballet class presents dancers with an opportunity to strengthen their core technical skills.  This class is held on Tuesday nights from 7:30-8:30pm, and the monthly tuition is $35.  This class is open to all dancers, and it is separate from all other classes.  Please note that this class does not perform in our End of Year Revue.  We treat this class as supplemental instruction for any dancers wishing to continue pushing forward in their ballet technique.  We request that dancers wear a leotard, tights, and their hair pulled back for this class.​



Private Lessons​

Wanting some extra attention to improve your skills?  We offer private lessons at Storytellers in the styles of Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, and Hip Hop!  Lessons cost $25 per half hour, or $40 per hour.  Due to high demand, please note that private lessons are reserved for registered members of our competition team or recreational students.  If you are interested, please contact us to arrange a lesson, and we will find a time that works for you!

Other Classes and Offerings

Competition Classes

Our recreational program is designed for dancers of all ages and dance experiences.  This includes young, beginner dancers all the way through our advanced adults!  The recreational classes at our studio are taught at a level that will allow dancers who so desire to use them as a stepping stone to join our competition team.  They are also designed to allow students who are not interested in dancing competitively and who would like to remain in our recreational program to continue to advance in their dance education.  We always seek to help our dancers excel in a positive, safe, and encouraging environment.  We offer recreational classes in the styles of Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary/Lyrical.  For more information on any of these classes, please contact us!  Registration is now open for our current 13th season!

All of our recreational students will perform in our End of Year Revue in May.  There is a $55 flat charge for the recital, plus a costume fee.  These will vary by the age and class.  Please note that all tuition and other fees are nonrefundable.

Advanced Adult Classes

These weekly classes are a fun, exciting experience for adults!  Though we call these our Advanced Adult classes, they are open to adults with all different levels of experience  The content of these classes varies from week to week, though each class focuses on strengthening dance skills while building an appreciation for these styles of dance.  The class times are as follows:


Tuesday:

Hip Hop: 7:00-7:45pm

Contemporary: 7:45-8:30pm


Thursday:

Tap: 7:00-7:45pm

Jazz: 7:45-8:30pm


The monthly tuition for this class is $30 per style.  Dancers are welcome to take any combination of styles!  The adults in this class will perform in our End of Year Revue in May.  We also offer an Adult Competition Team program at our studio!  More information on that program can be found here.
